Push Press
December 5th, 2010 | Posted by in Floor-friendly weight lifting techniquesThis exercise is good for developing leg power .
Take the bar off the stands so you don’t have to power clean. Keep you chest up and your back flat. Dip down and bend your knees into a quarter squat position. Then drive up hard with your legs. Get all the power into the bar then finish off with a pressing movement. Your body should stay upright. Don’t lean forward or backward. The power behind the push press has to come from the legs.
