Beware These Men Killers

Heart disease
In Britain heart disease causes more than 19 percent of all deaths. According The British Heart Foundation, smoking, high blood pressure, obesity, lack of exercise, diabetes and high cholesterol are the main six factors behind heart disease. You can lower your cholesterol by going easy on saturated fats found in butter, fatty meat, hard cheese and cookies. Instead eat more oily fish, avocados, nuts and seeds which contain healthy oil.
Stroke
High blood pressure accounts for up to the third of strokes. A slight education in blood pressure can decrease the likelihood of a stroke by 40 percent. Eating too much salt is a leading cause of elevated blood pressure. You should eat less than 6g of salt a day.
Too much booze, lack of exercise and drug use, especially cannabis and cocaine can raise the risk of a stroke.
Bronchitis/Emphysema
Again, smoking is the main cause of both bronchitis and emphysema as it exposes the lungs to high levels of harmful toxins. Regular cardiovascular exercises – at least five times a week for around 30 minutes improves lung efficiency and help prevent a whole range of nasty conditions and diseases.
Influenza
You can easily reduce the risk of catching swine flu and most flu strains by having a good hygiene – especially washing hands with an alcohol solution.
Lung Cancer
Smoking cause up to 90 percent of lung cancer cases in men. A diet rich in fish could halve the chance of having lung cancer. The best bet is to stop smoking.Now.
Prostate Cancer
Although this form of cancer is highly treatable if detected early, it still kills thousands. Once way to prevent it is to take multivitamins as tablets or from your diet. Eating broccoli and cauliflower, for instance, can help cut the risk.
