Pummelling
September 30th, 2010 | Posted by in GrecoGreco-Roman wrestling is about standing right in your opponent’s face, chest to chest, fighting for grips. Once you manage to secure the under hook with both arms, you can control your opponent by using the body lock . If your opponent has the under hook with his left arm, yo can swim your right arm underneath his left arm. Making your arms shorter – not extended helps you mange the under hook easily .
When pummelling, your arms should resemble those of a T-Rex.
To make it difficult for your opponent to re pummel his arm in, keep your head on the same side of your opponent’s body as your under hook. Lock your hand tight to prevent him from stealing your under hook. Dig your arm all the way under your opponent’s arm – reaching to his shoulder.
