Running The Pipe

When you execute a high single and snatch your opponent’s lead leg, you can complete the take down by utilizing a technique called ” running the pipe” which is hiking your opponent leg between your legs. This technique doesn’t work on all opponents. Those who have exceptional balance can go around hopping on one leg . Try to run the pipe first when you acquire the high single, but if your opponent counters the take down and maintains his balance then you should go for the double leg take down.
