Fresh tuna is an important source of omega-3 fats and antioxidant minerals for arterial and heart health. It is also rich in vitamin E for healthy skin. Tuna is an excellent source of protein and especially rich in B vitamins, selenium and magnesium: a small portion of tuna contains around 20 per cent of an adult daily vitamin E needs.  Tuna is also a good source of EPA and DHA fats.
