Whether you are looking to get the strength and conditioning of an MMA fighter, or you are looking to step outside the comfort zone of cozy health clubs, CrossMMAFit training program gives you first hand access to Mixed Martial Art intense and effective training as well as the necessary and effective techniques to be able to defend yourself in any situation: standing ( boxing) , close range or on the ground ( wrestling and Jiujitsu) .
The fitness program is an all-around strength and conditioning program designed to build General Physical Preparedness(GPP) and enhance competency at all physical tasks. The program prepares you to handle whatever task life throws at you by optimizing physical competence in most fitness domains: cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, accuracy, balance, coordination and agility.
The one-hour, core, training session is based on function, variety, scalability and intensity. It develops the foundational fitness for athletes, fighters or anyone who wants to get in shape. We train people to move their bodies effectively, powerfully, athletically and most importantly pain-free.
Each member is allowed to progress at his or her own pace while training for any contingency – there is no such thing as routine. Our workouts are not a little-bit-of-everything, one time great training sessions: Each one of the three sessions a week is designed to address specific components of fitness.
Cross MMA Fitness Formula:
- Real workouts : train outside your comfort zone. High intensity is key to achieve optimal athletic performance , but only after acquiring aerobic fitness base and sound techniques. High Intensity is necessary to burn additional calories in a shorter period of time.
- Real food: healthy food is perishable. Processed food is nutritionally worthless.
Eat real food. Be sensible not fanatical. Refer to nutrition section on how to eat healthy. - Real Results: we set your targets; monitor your improvements; and compare your performance over time.
- Simple & effective equipments: sandbags, kettle bells, dumbbells, gymnastic rings, skipping ropes, manila ropes ( for battling ropes and rope climbing), power wheels, parallettes , free weights, tyres of all sizes , tornado balls, sledge hammers, sleds, kegs, Swiss balls, jump boxes, medicine balls, mace balls…
- Machines are the enemy: machines are supposed to make life easier. They don’t allow sufficient work to the stabilizer and fixator muscles. Free weights allow movement in three dimensions simultaneously forcing an individual to stabilize the load as it is lifted.
- Rest & Recovery: strength and conditioning training is destructive by nature.
To gain optimal results from our three-session-a-week training, you have to rest up to 48 hours, after each session, while maintaining a healthy diet and getting enough sleep, in order to facilitate recovery from muscle breakdown, mental stress and central nervous system fatigue. - Learn how to defend yourself: being fit only won’t help if you come across a yobo who wants to punch you in the face or he happens to be looking for a fight. All your burpees, tuck jumps and tyre flipping won’t help. At the end of every training session we work on one or two fighting techniques. We work on how to strike ( boxing); how to avoid being taken down ( submission wrestling); and how to defend yourself when you are on the ground ( 10th planet jiu jitsu).

Please note that although we try to restrict each session to one hour, sometimes we spend more time working on wrestling and grappling techniques.
